Airline miles in my opinion is a farce... if you don't actively watch the airlines, you won't get credit for your miles. I have made three trips alone to Europe this year and out of the four flights I incurred (three one way and one round trip), only one flight showed up on my delta miles card. One would think that if I used my miles card to establish my identity and receive my boarding pass that my account would reflect my trip? Um... not. I still had to call up Delta and prove to them that I took the trip weeks after the fact. Delta still owes me about 12,000 miles, and the outlook is grim that I will ever get credited with the miles even though I had the crappiest seat on the plane (aisle seat, back of plane, next to bathroom) during my last flight. Thanks Delta...
